About Me

National Bicycle Greenway
Author of "Awake Again", I have biked the US twice after rehabing myself from paralysis, clinical death and a two-month coma. Soon, I will be HiWheeling the US on the Eagle, the first backwards facing Penny Farthing to ever be pedaled from one coast to the other. With "How America Can Bike and Grow Rich". Inclement weather ended my first attempt to transect the USA on it in Salt Lake City in 2009 for which here is that web. In 2010, a car destroyed my wheel (blog) in my attempt to reach Boston in the 2010 - 8th Annual National Mayors' Ride. Armed now with the tools and experience I need, here from Ireland, is the build up for my upcoming crossing as we call for a coast to coast network of bikeable roads and paths.
